It's true, you can still praise the Lord even in your darkest hour. He is our Light and He will not forsake us. When my granny died recently I spoke with so many people whole day, reassuring them that God will take care of the situation. And after that long day at some point I ended up alone at home, there was no battery on my phone so I couldn't reach out to anyone to talk a bit. I thought at first, great I am going to be alone in the worst moment possible and that second I felt God. He was there, He never left, He listened and gave me peace. All I'ma say is you can't be wrong in your denomination or Christianity if it's what you believe in. All of us as Christians believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins and the only way to Heaven is thru him. As a Baptist I'm proud of my denomination but we're not supposed to judge other Christians for their choice of denomination. Being a Baptist is not better than being a Catholic or Methodist it's just the way we choose to serve Jesus.

That’s not how it works. It’s not “oops I guessed wrong.” It’s a heart posture - if I am truly concerned with “truth” - which Jesus claimed he was THE truth - God says he will reveal himself to you. Otherwise Satan himself would be going to heaven - he “believes” in God (knows he’s there). But his heart is opposed to God. So it’s not about guessing. It’s about having a heart of willingness and humility that God draws close to.

The majority of protestant Christians fall under an umbrella where the VAST majority of protestants fall within 10-15 churches. Most if not all agree on the majority of things, especially the important things Like who is Jesus, how are we saved. Etc. Mormons and jehovahs witnesses can't be faithfully considered Christians (and they arent by Christians) The whole 40,000 denominations is a b.s. argument when the vast majority of protestants agree on the majority of things and the main stuff. Yes, I was afraid that other religions might be true, so I looked at their claims, the source of their texts, and what their deity did to resolve sin and they ALL fell short of Christianity. Some offer the most entertaining so-called spirituality and magic. Then fall short when being applicable to real life. Our God has no use for Pride, arrogance, or a haughty nature. That says a lot for me and I gave my life to Christ.
